Hey all, The Death of Dulgath was designed to be a standalone Royce and Hadrian novel, but the two were introduced in a series called The Riyria Revelations (six books released through three, two-book omnibus volumes). And I wanted to let you know about a special offer on the first two books of that series. 

Theft of Swords was selected as a Kindle Daily Deal. For those of you are aren't familiar with Daily Deals, Amazon picks a few books each day to deeply discount and today's (10/14/16) selection is Theft of Swords. This means you can get the book for just $2.99 rather than the normal $9.99 price. And because it has two full-length novels it's an greater value.

The book was released almost 5 years ago and has 37,300 4 & 5 star reviews. It also was nominated for an Audie Award and has been on more than a dozen best-of lists.

One last thing I should mention...if you do pick up a copy of the ebook you should be able to get the audio book at a hugely discounted price. The book has been "Whispersync Enabled" and Amazon gives tremendous price breaks to people who get both formats.  

Anyway, I just wanted to let all the backers know about this special pricing. I hope you'll pick up a copy. Oh, and if you already have a copy of the book, consider gifting one to a person you know who might like to sink their teeth into a couple of fun romps with Royce and Hadrian. Getting Closer and paying it forward.

Hey Guys,

With my last check-in before I started working on this update, we were at $21,724. So, I'm thinking we will hit goal in the next couple of days. I figured you guys deserve something cool for helping us get to that goal so I have something extremely cool in the work for all backers. I will announce it as soon as we hit 25K. I hope you guys like it.  

So please make sure you are sharing the link to our Riyria Kickstarter so we get to goal quicker and I can share and give you all the cool stuff I want to show you now lol.

With that said....

We chose to use KICKSTARTER because it would let us create all these cool extras and whatnot that we probably wouldn't have done if not for KS. And lots of the creative community does the same. And being the biggest comics and games guy on the staff, I feel I should let you know of two Kickstarters our creative friends and family have in the works. You are under no obligation to pledge but I figured it can't hurt to throw you guys a link to projects we consider cool!

Our very own Graphic Wizard DAVE LANPHEAR in conjunction with Writer Daniel Corey and artist Chris Fenoglio are working on an amazing project called BLOODWORTHwhich is currently on its second issue (But you can grab both issues from the KS which I'll be doing tomorrow.)

The other Project is by our very best friends at Silly Kid Games. These guys are some of the hardest working game designing folks I have ever met ( I'll also be doing some comic stuff for them in the future). They have thrown all they have into designing a great game based on the Classic movie The Warriors. I edited The Warriors comics a couple years back and know how fun the property is and these guys have worked really hard on it and are already rocketing toward the goal.

Another Milestone hit - just crossed $20,000

Love seeing all the enthusiasm for the project. I know we can make this a reality. Now less than $5,000 to full funding. I'm already setting out a premium space on my bookshelf for the hardcover edition.

We're less than three full days into the campaign, and have passed the two-third mark. That's great progress so far. We've loved seeing all the Facebook and twitter chatter for this project. Thanks for helping to spread the word. Together we can make this happen. I just know it.
